Ella Knight Fractures EP Promotional Shoot

Singer Ella Knight got in touch in regards to doing a shoot so she had some images to use in conjugation with her latest musical release, an EP called Fractures. Now working of her inspiration board she wanted a warm orange-y feel to the imagery along with close up and half body shots. This helped create some real intimate and emotional imagery as shared here. We tried a few different lighting set-ups so she had a selection of different  vibes but a constant look for any single releases moving forward from the same EP.

This was a great experiance as Ella was lovely to work with, and whilst knowing what she wanted she was happy to let me experiment with different types of lighting and looks until she got a desired look she was happy with the reflected her ideas. And whilst we had an inspo board I tend to use them for just that, inspiration not for copying. We didn’t try to replicate a single image, pose or lighting but used for guidance and made our own original artwork.

This was a fun, creative and experimental photo shoot but ultimately rewarding as I created some beautiful photos that i love (not always the case) and Ella got her promotional imagery. Win win all round!
